Chewy Tubes - Blue
Chewy Tubes® are an innovative oral motor tool designed to develop biting and chewing skills for children and adults. It provides a resilient, non-food, chewable surface that you can be sure is safe for your child. Intended for individual use, Chewy Tubes® are non-toxic, latex free and lead free. In addition they do not contain PVC or phthalates. Chewy Tubes® colors are FDA approved. Sizes: Yellow with a smaller stem size (9mm), typically for an infant (9-10 months) or an individual who cannot open their jaw very wide (clonus), used initially in treatment with children who are very defensive about oral tactile stimulation. Red with a slightly wider stem (12 mm), for toddlers and older children who are status-post oral surgery. Blue with a larger stem (15mm), 75% thicker than yellow or red tubes, suitable for those individuals at an advanced level of exercise within their oral motor program. Knobby green (12 mm) provides additional oral sensory input.

P's & Q's Chews
P's & Q's are fun new exercisers for children practicing biting and chewing skills! These fun shapes are made of the same FDA compliant material as all our Chewy Tubes and offer a safe, non-toxic durable surface for biting and chewing activities. They are latex-free and do not contain PVC or phthalates. P's and Q's are solid rather than tubular so they offer a firmer surface for biting than the red or yellow Chewy Tubes. Young patients enjoy grasping the P with their newly developing fine motor skills. The bitable stem of the P reaches back into the molar region sending appropriate proprioceptive input into the TMJ as the patient practices biting. Babies enjoy the Q extension for tongue exploration. For larger jaws, the larger Q offers a firm bilateral surface for jaw closure activities.
